Kendall County Special Education FOIA Request

To better serve the community, Kendall County Special Education Cooperative offers Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) forms and documents online as a public courtesy.

The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) is a state statue that provides: “Pursuant to the fundamental philosophy of the American constitutional form of government, it is declared to be the public policy of the State of Illinois that all persons are entitled to full and complete information regarding the affairs of government and the official acts and policies of those who represent them as public officials and public employees consistent with the terms of this Act. Such access is necessary to enable the people to fulfill their duties of discussing public issues fully and freely, making informed political judgments and monitoring government to ensure that it is being conducted in the public interest.”

Then follow the steps to register:

  1. In the upper right hand corner, click on the “register” link.
  2. Enter your date of birth and hit “submit” (This is needed to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act)
  3. Fill out the information in the profile – the fields marked with an asterik are required.  In the email address field, please put your KCSEC email address.
  4. You will receive a confirmation email from Infinitec with your user name and password.

When you return to the website, click on the “sign in” button and enter your username and password.
